Baseline Requirements
Applicants must meet the following baseline qualifications to be considered for employment with 1st Veterans Security LLC:

Minimum 28 years of age
-
U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States
-
Minimum 5 years of combined military, law enforcement, intelligence, or vetted experience
-
Minimum 3 years of commercial executive protection or close protection experience
-
Completion of a recognized Close Protection course (e.g., PPO, PSD, EP certification)
-
Completion of a recognized trauma medical course (TCCC, TECC, EMT-B/NREMT preferred)
-
Current mental health screening or psychological fitness-for-duty assessment
-
Recent criminal background clearance (state, federal, and FBI-level preferred)
-
Ability to demonstrate a high level of physical fitness and professional appearance
-
Proven ability to work as a team player in high-pressure environments

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
Professional demeanor with high regard for confidentiality and discretion
-
Cultural awareness and ability to operate respectfully in diverse environments

Strong affinity for service-oriented roles with a client-first mindset
-
Fluency in English; knowledge of a second or third language is preferred

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
-
Completion of a recognized advanced driving course (e.g., evasive or protective driving)

Willingness to submit recent drug and alcohol screening results

Must provide at least two professional references

Willingness to travel and work extended hours or rotating shifts when required
-
Must value integrity, loyalty, and operational discipline
